Milan Marinović

Born in 1963 in Valjevo.
Graduated lawyer with a bar exam.

By a Decision of the Government of the Republic of Serbia dated 14.08.1998, he was first appointed judge at the City Judge for Misdemeanors in Belgrade, and then reappointed to the same position on 24.08.2006. At the proposal of the High Judicial Council, by a Decision on the election of judges to a three-year term in courts of general and special jurisdiction adopted by the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia on 29.12.2009, he was elected judge of the Misdemeanor Court in Belgrade. By a Decision on the election of judges to a permanent position adopted by the High Judicial Council, he was elected judge with permanent tenure at the Misdemeanor Court in Belgrade. He was a member of several working groups for amending existing regulations and drafting new ones.

He is the author of several papers on misdemeanors and misdemeanor proceedings.

By a Decision of the High Judicial Council dated 30.12.2009, he was appointed acting president of the Misdemeanor Court in Belgrade. By a Decision on the election of the President of the Misdemeanor Court in Belgrade, issued by the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia on 23.05.2014, he was elected president of the Misdemeanor Court in Belgrade.
By a Decision of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia dated 26.07.2019, he was elected Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection.
