Activities of the Office of the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection in August 2026:

I.  Case Statistics

In August 2026, the Commissioner’s Office received a total of 1.349 cases, namely:

• 987cases related to access to information,
• 222 cases related to personal data protection,
• 11 cases related to misdemeanor proceedings in both fields of the Commissioner’s competencies,
• 129 cases related to both fields of competency and the work of the Commissioner’s Office.

This month, the total number of resolved cases is 1.318 (931 — access to information, 276 — data protection, 19 — misdemeanor proceedings, 92 — harmonization, cooperation, education, certification, and reporting in both areas of the Commissioner’s competencies).
