Training held for the participants of the Youth Initiative for Human Rights program
The cooperation between the institution of the Commissioner and this Initiative continues for the third year in a row. In this regard, a training was held today for the second group of participants in the Youth Initiative for Human Rights program "How to research and report on the human rights situation", who were initially addressed by the Deputy Commissioner, Sanja Unkovic.
The Deputy Commissioner informed the participants of the program about the work of the Commissioner, his competencies and regulations, with special reference to the Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on Free Access to Information of Public Importance, as well as the initiative for adopting a new Personal Data Protection Strategy for the period until 2029.
The authorized persons of the Commissioner further emphasized the role of public authorities’ proactive disclosure of information of public importance, and presented the practice of acting in the field of free access to information of public importance.
