Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection issued a resolution ordering the High Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade to provide the information to a journalist from the Whistleblower Portal, on the case which is conducted by the Prosecutor’s Office, against Sinisa Mali, which would disclose the following:
- the respective case number, which criminal offences prompted and at what stage the case currently is, what actions the Prosecution has undertaken in the case, and whether Sinisa Mali was interrogated and when,
- what the Prosecution has undertaken further to the Report of the Anti-Corruption Agency, dated August 2016,
- at what time the Prosecutor’s Office received the report from the Administration for the Prevention of Money Laundering on the controlling of Sinisa Mali’s financial activities, where the Administration had acted at the notification reported by the Hypo Alpe-Adria Bank in 2009, and what has been undertaken thereof.
Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection, in his letter to the Prime Minister, expressed satisfaction that at the meeting on 18 August 2017, a full agreement was reached on the necessity that the citizen personal data registers, whose establishment is planned by the Government, is to be regulated by law and must not be based on by-laws or ministerial agreements.
Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection has issued a resolution, ordering the Anti-Corruption Agency to provide the journalist of the Criminal Investigation and Corruption Network – KRIK, the requested information, i.e. a copy of the report submitted on 17/12/2015, by the Agency to the Prosecutor's Office for Organized Crime, after conducting an inspection of the report on the property and revenues of the official, Aleksandar Vulin, while at the same time, protecting the personal data such as: names and surnames of all persons other than the official, Aleksandar Vulin, address data, personal registration number of citizens, bank account numbers of natural persons, data on the addresses where the real estates are located, vehicle registration plate numbers, and the like.
