Commissioner with Digital Expedition in Barajevo
The Caravan of Digital Skills, Literacy, and Security - Digital Expedition 2023 visited Barajevo on October 6 and 7. On that occasion, representatives of the Commissioner's Office, Aleksandra Lakićević and Marija Gladović, held a training on personal data protection for fifth and sixth-grade elementary school children. This training aims to familiarize children with the basic concepts of this right, what personal data is, who to contact in case of abuse, and how the Commissioner can help them in this situation. "Personal Data is our Treasure, How Can We Protect It?" by Dragan Ilic, was also presented, children's brochure prepared by the Commissioner with the help of the "New Literacy" program, which is jointly implemented by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Propulsion organization. Custom-made TV spots for children related to this brochure were also created, and are currently being broadcast on numerous national, regional, and local stations.
Caravan Digital Expedition is implemented with the support of the Ministry of Information and Telecommunications, the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veterans and Social Affairs, the Office for IT and eGovernment, the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection, and in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the European organization Propulsion.
