and Personal Data Protection in July 2024;
I. Case Statistics
In July 2024, the Commissioner’s Office received a total of 2710 cases, including:
- 1906 cases in connection with access to information,
- 385 cases in connection with personal data protection,
- 114 cases relating to both areas of work and actions of the Commissioner’s Office,
- 305 cases relating to misdemeanor proceedings.
A total of 1334 cases were resolved during this month (951 - access to information, 160 – data protection, 105 – harmonisation and cooperation in both areas of Commissioner's actions, 118 - misdemeanor proceedings).
According to the available call records, a total of 1641 contacts with citizens and public authorities were made to provide advice on the exercise of the right to free access to information and with citizens and personal data controllers for consultations in connection with implementation of the Law on Personal Data Protection and cases handled.
