Case Statistics
In May 2018, the Commissioner’s Office received a total of 1.454 cases, including:
- 412 cases in connection with freedom of information,
- 948 cases in connection with personal data protection,
- 94 cases relating to both spheres of competence and operations of the Commissioner’s Office.
A total of 4.307 pending cases were carried forward from the previous period (3.592 – freedom of information, 670 – data protection, 45 – other cases).
A total of 1.434 cases were resolved during this month (493 - freedom of information, 849 – data protection, 92 – harmonisation of the law and regulations)
There are 4.328 cases pending (3511 – freedom of information, 770 – data protection and 47 - harmonisation of the law and regulations)
According to the available call records, 1724 contacts with citizens and public authorities were made to provide advice on the exercise of freedom of information and with citizens and personal data controllers for consultations in connection with implementation of the Law on Personal Data Protection and cases handled.
