Ms. Nevena Ružić, Secretary General Assistant, was called to attend the "Consultation Meeting of Experts on Internet, Social Media and Human Rights" organised and chaired by Mr. Niels Muižnieks Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights, held in Strasbourg on 23 November 2012. The meeting gathered Commissioner for Human Rights and representatives of the Council of Europe  and six experts on the Internet, social media and human rights. The main issues discussed during the meeting were: access to the internet & access to content without undue restrictions, privacy and data protection and the protection and empowerment of children.
