On February 25, 2021, a meeting between Commissioner Milan Marinović and Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany Thomas Schieb was held in the official premises of the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection. The meeting discussed the engagement of the Commissioner in amendments to the Law on Access to Information of Public Importance, in the context of implementing reforms in the Republic of Serbia with the aim of joining the EU, as well as launching an initiative to activate and update the Personal Data Protection Strategy which would, among other things, harmonize all relevant regulations with the Law on Personal Data Protection.
