The Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection received the Ambassador Alexander Keltcevski, Head of OSCE/ ODIHR (Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights) Mission, which had been established on occasion of presidential elections in the Republic of Serbia. In addition to Ambassador Keltcevski, the meeting was attended by associates of the Mission, election analysts.
They talked about the course and outcome of the electoral process and the existence and functioning of institutions tasked for monitoring the course and regularity of elections from various aspects.
Special emphasis in the discussion was placed on the single electoral roll, i.e. in general, possibility of access to personal data contained in public authorities' databases by political parties in the context of their possible misuse.
