Yesterday, Commissioner Milan Marinovic and Assistant Secretary General Slavoljupka Pavlovic attended a meeting of the World Bank, on the occasion of their Initiative for improving Joint Transparency and Accountability in Serbia. Commissioner Milan Marinović was elected a member of the Organizing Committee and Slavoljupka Pavlović his deputy.

On that occasion, Commissioner Marinovic welcomed the World Bank's initiative to support joint transparency and the establishment of an Organizing Committee that will ensure the interaction of relevant actors through strategic approach, with the aim of improving transparency and accountability in the implementation of the existing national legal framework.

At the end of the meeting, the Rules of Procedure of the Organizing Committee were adopted, and thematic working groups were formed as well.
