Commissioner for Information of Public Importance , Mr. Rodoljub Sabic and Ms. Virginia Juan, Head of Media Department of the OSCE's Mission in Serbia and Montenegro, have spoken today about further cooperation in implementation of the Law on Free Access to Information of Public Interest.
Commissioner, Mr. Rodoljub Sabic declared on that occasion:
„The OSCE Mission in Serbia and Montenegro has given and shall obviously continue to give very significant support to the application of the Law on Free Access to Information of Public Interest.
On this occasion as well, we have spoken about one of the bigger problems regarding Law application, of staff education. We have agreed upon realization of a training program for staff from the Public Administration for this Law's implementation.
The Program shall be implemented with the material, logistics and other support of the OSCE Mission. The Program understands organizing certain seminars in several regional centers. That means, it would cover up the employees in the governmental bodies from a greater number of Municipalities, which I consider as very important“.
