On March 6, 2024, the Office of the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection was visited by students of the Student Association for International Cooperation of the Faculty of Law in Belgrade, on whose initiative the training was conducted. They were addressed by Marko Milošević, Head of the Education Department, who introduced the guests to the development and competencies of the Commissioner.
On that occasion, it was explained to our guests how they can obtain information in the possession of public authorities, what is the purpose of the Information Booklets on Work, and under what conditions a complaint can be filed. After that, the focus was also shifted to personal data protection, and the students acquainted with the basic principles of data processing, and the lawfulness of processing, and they had the opportunity to learn more about protection measures through examples from practice presented by Marin Cetinić, senior adviser in the Sector for Education and Certification. Assistant Secretary-General Aleksandar Kocić Ranđelović presented his work experience in inspection supervision. At the end of the training, the Student Association for International Cooperation representatives presented a Certificate of Appreciation to the Commissioner for his dedication, support, and conveyed knowledge. 20 students attended the training.
