and Personal Data Protection in March 2024
I. Case Statistics
In March 2024, the Commissioner’s Office received a total of 1864 cases, including:
- 1289 cases in connection with access to information,
- 337 cases in connection with personal data protection,
- 119 cases relating to both areas of work and actions of the Commissioner’s Office,
- 119 cases relating to misdemeanor proceedings.
A total of 1896 cases were resolved during this month (1275 - access to information, 396 – data protection, 121 – harmonisation and cooperation in both areas of Commissioner's actions, 104 - misdemeanor proceedings).
According to the available call records, a total of 2376 contacts with citizens and public authorities were made to provide advice on the exercise of the right to free access to information and with citizens and personal data controllers for consultations in connection with implementation of the Law on Personal Data Protection and cases handled.
