of Activities of the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance
and Personal Data Protection in November 2024;
I. Case Statistics
In November 2024, the Commissioner’s Office received a total of 2527 cases, including:
- 2091 cases in connection with access to information,
- 225 cases in connection with personal data protection,
- 86 cases relating to misdemeanor proceedings,
- 125 cases relating to both areas of work and actions of the Commissioner’s Office.
A total of 1725 cases were resolved during this month (1115- access to information, 374 – data protection, 93 - misdemeanor proceedings, 143 – harmonisation and cooperation in both areas of Commissioner's actions).
According to the available call records, a total of 1562 contacts with citizens and public authorities were made to provide advice on the exercise of the right to free access to information and with citizens and personal data controllers for consultations in connection with implementation of the Law on Personal Data Protection and cases handled.
