Belgrade - The Association of Jouranlists of Serbia asked the Members of the Parliament in the Parliament of Serbia yesterday to provide continuity in the work of the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance, Rodoljub Sabic. This association states that it ''appreciates very much the current work done by the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance, thanks to whom, citizens have begun to materialize significantly the right which the Law on Access to Information of Public Importance gives them''. Sabic has, adds the subject association ''equally successfully acquainted the citizens with the right to get the information, which was traditionally inaccessible here and he has at the same time made the mechanisms, which make it easier for the individuals to materialize this right, function''. Commissioner Sabic has succeeded with exceptional efforts, as few government officials have, to create an institution of confidence, which contributes significantly to the democratization of the country and its functioning in the interest of the citizens...
