Belgrade - The OSCE Mission chief in Serbia, Hans Ola Urstad, supported yesterday the outstanding work done by the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance, Rodoljub Sabic. ''Sabic is a professional, dedicated to his work, who supports with all his heart the right of the public to be informed, enabling it access to information guaranteed to it by the law'', estimated in his written statement, ambassador Urstad. He pointed out that such, successful public officials, provide for future Serbian association into the European Union, by establishing the high standards and practice. Urstad reminded that the OSCE mission had organized together with the commissioner, tens of workshops on the subject of free access to information for several hundreds of government officers and journalists.- The Commissioner is a chief partner of the Mission in promoting the basic human right to free access to information, pointed out Urstad and added that OSCE supports Sabic to continue his work for the good of the citizens of Serbia.
