Six ministers violated law
ExpiredBlic - Six ministers violated law
They are hiding what they are spending our money on
Serbia Ministers Milan Parivodic, Zoran Stojkovic, Dragan Kojadinovic, Velimir Ilic and Bojan Dimitrijevic are hiding information about the salaries, expenses, number of employees, public purchases and equipment available in their ministries. As 'Blic' finds out these ministers have violated the law on access to information of public importance since they have not published bulletins about the work of their ministries within given deadline. Such bulletins contain data about spending of taxpayers' money.
Secretary for Information, Rodoljub Sabic said that seven ministries had failed to fulfil their legal obligation but did not want to stipulate what ministries he had in mind. He yesterday sent letters to all ministers pointing out that even the ministries that had published their reports on Internet did not update them regularly and that some data were rather scarce or not presented at all. He reminded the ministers that failure to supply such data was violation of law that was sanctioned.
As 'Blic' finds out Sabic told the ministers to inform him until May 15 what measures they would undertake in regard to publishing of information of public significance.
